As the Principal at Crescent English Medium School, it is an honour to have the opportunity to serve such an outstanding community. It is my desire to work with the children, and the staff to continue to foster a strong sense of oneness in order to increase student achievement. During my last 25 years of my career, I have worked as an education instructor in Indian Army, science teacher in state schools, teacher and assistant principal in CBSE School, and at present the principal of this esteemed Institution. From the varied experiences throughout my career, I have learned that the best method to increase and maintain high student achievement is to foster the development of a strong school community where the principal, staff, and parents collaborate in order to best meet the needs of their students. Academic achievement and the social/emotional growth of our students is our priority. Continuous professional development insures that our teachers are as prepared as possible to meet the instructional needs of our students. The strict and effective Implementation of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in school has evoked a right attitude among the children to concentrate their studies with out any fear of failure. The computer aided smart rooms installed in the school explores new horizon of learning experience. Scholastic and Co scholastic activities in the school facilitate the development of all the three domains (Cognitive, affective & psycho motor) of a child. Gardening (herbal& floral), First Aid, Raising Band music wing, craft works are some of attractions of the current year. I am extremely thankful to the management especially the chairman Mr Mohammed Unas for his whole hearted and sincere support to me to lead as the academic head of this Institution. The true faith laid by the parents on me and the co operation extended by my teaching and non-teaching members were the key factors behind the recent progress of our school. I truly believe strong partnerships between parents and staff lead to academic success for all students. Therefore, I invite parents to visit our school, your school, and to actively participate in your child’s education. This participation may come in a variety of forms including: joining the PTA, working as a volunteer at the school, checking your child’s homework and agenda on a daily basis, attending school-wide events and communicating questions or concerns to me and the teachers. Again, I am thrilled about being a member of this wonderful community.
